Bobby has lived in the Raleigh area for over 35 years. After playing basketball, football, and running track at Broughton High School – Bobby attended NC State University as was a 4 year letterman for the Pack’s football team from 1987 to 1990. He played wide receiver and led the team in TD receptions his senior year. Bobby has spent the past 10+ years coaching youth football and basketball in the Cary area – and the past 5 years he has focused on coaching and developing elite level basketball players at the AAU circuit level. Some of the most influential people in Bobby’s youth were athletic coaches who helped him develop athletic and life skills – but most importantly helped lead him to Christ. Bobby’s passion is to do the same for the young people God has placed in front of him today.
Bobby and his wife Nancy have been married since 2002 and have 4 children: Taylor, Lawson, and twins Dara and Dalton. Lawson, Dara and Dalton have played for the Sabres basketball organization for 4 years. The Jurgens family attends The Shepherd’s Church in Cary, NC.
