Game Streaming Video

The Sabres try to stream video for as many games as possible.  Streaming game videos depends on having people and equipment available for each game.  Because people and equipment may change, we will sometimes have to make last minute changes to our stream video schedule.  If you can not find the game you are trying to watch, please be sure to check both YouTube and Facebook Live to determine which platform we are using.

Note:  YouTube is the primary streaming video channel for the South Wake Sabres

YouTube Cheatsheet for Videographers

You need to download the YouTube app on your mobile telephone.  Note: not YouTube Studio

You need to sign out of your personal Youtube account and sign into the Sabres Account to stream to the Sabres YouTube Channel

YouTube will ask you add another account.  You will add another Google account.

When you want to begin streaming a Live Video:

Look for the “+” (plus sign) at the bottom center of the YouTube App
Select Plus and Go Live.
In the Title box, add the game details: South Wake Sabres VG cs. Chatham Thunder.

Be sure your stream Visibility is marked as PUBLIC.

All other default settings are good.

Select Next

Be sure you have the right camera selected. Rotate your camera to horizontal landscape.

Select Go Live

When you are done streaming, select the “X” in the top right corner of your display and then select End

If you want to use your personal mobile phone, you need to register your Google email account with the Sabres before you will be able to stream to the Sabres YouTube Channel.
