North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education: The state of North Carolina answers many questions including legal requirements, recommendations, and reminders for homeschooling.  It also tells you where to submit your homeschooling packet.

North Carolinians for Home Education (NCHE): This is a great site to those wanting to learn more about homeschooling in North Carolina.  They host a homeschool conference annually in Winston-Salem, NC.

NCHE Athletic Commission: NCHEAC supports multiple homeschool sports, including basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, cross country, swimming, golf, and fencing.  This website has great information about participating in sports as a homeschooler.

Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA): HSLDA passionately advocates for the freedom to homeschool and offers support for every stage of your homeschool journey.

Colonial HomeschoolersBased out of Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, NC, Colonial Homeschoolers is open to any family seeking a Christian-based co-op. Activities vary widely – everything from small groups and clubs to science co-ops, field trips and group testing. Members also have the ability to plan new events and opportunities.

Spice-line of Raleigh: Christian-based online group that provides information and encouragement to home-schooling families in Raleigh and Durham. Serves established, finished and new home-schoolers or even those considering home schooling.
